The stage is set with a professionally designed course for speed, epic rivalry and fierce competition. Friday’s Festival of Speed, presented by Wade Equine Coaches, is a thrilling experience that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
The event includes pony and horse speed classes requiring power, accuracy and control. The finale sees the speed and precision of scurrying. Described as fast and furious, skilful ponies and their drivers pull a small cart around an obstacle course as fast as they can.

Experience the magic of the horse-human bond at Equifest's Saturday Nightshow! This captivating showcase, presented by NSC, highlights horses' incredible skills and remarkable trainability as they work harmoniously with their riders. Hosted by the dynamic duo of Dan Steers and Amanda Wilson, alongside Russell Higgins, Ellie Harrison, Bex Tasker, Kelly Wilson, Vicki Wilson, Jody Hartstone, and the Sparkly Strides Quadrille, this evening promises to be an unforgettable and thrilling experience that you won't want to miss!
Kapiti Equestrian and Vaulting Centre will headline the evening, bringing their acclaimed Lost In The Blues production to the arena, where viewers will be transported into a world of blues music. Watch as the story unfolds through a range of highly skilled acts, from circus performances to equestrian feats, promising something for everyone.
