Equifest Future Stars is returning with a slightly different format. For those who may have missed it, Future Stars has traditionally been a platform for showcasing emerging talent in the equestrian world through competition. This year, however, Future Stars is shedding its competitive edge in favour of a more immersive experience designed to hone your performance skills in a professional environment.
This year, the spotlight is on providing participants with a valuable opportunity to grow and shine in a supportive, non-competitive setting. The revamped format emphasises experience over rivalry, focusing on equipping aspiring stars with the skills and confidence to perform in a top-tier environment.
Participants will receive mentorship during Equifest from Russell Higgins, Kelly Wilson, Ellie Harrison, and Hannah Catalino and the opportunity to perform with sound, lighting, and costumes during a Sunday showcase.
Application Process
Spaces are limited, and applications close 9am on the 27th September. To complete your application, please ensure you have the following materials ready:
High-Resolution Photos: Submit clear, high-quality photos of yourself with your horse. These will be used to understand your performance style and presentation.
Performance Description: Provide a brief description of your performance in approximately 100 words. This should outline what makes your act unique and what the judges can expect to see.
Music: Include the music that will accompany your performance. This helps in understanding the rhythm and flow of your act.
Performance Video: Upload a short video showcasing your performance. This video should give a clear representation of what you plan to present during the showcase.
Additional Information
Please note that camping, yarding, and ground fees will apply. An invoice will be sent if your application is successful.
